Top Roof 6 kg is a flexible acrylic coating reinforced with fibers for sealing roofs. Typical Uses :Intended for sealing roofs with a drainage incline. Top Roof is highly resistant to all weather conditions, prevents seepage of water into the roof and, since it’s flexible, it prevents the phenomenon of hairline cracks in the roof surface. Top Roof creates a thick white acrylic coat that obviates the need for painting the roof white repeatedly, thereby preventing the building from getting hot. Surface Preparation: Before application clean the roof well to remove any sand, dust and flaky whitewash residue. First sweep and collect the dirt and then rinse the roof, while using a strong highway broom. Use a mortar to scrape bulging and loose areas, etc. After rinsing ensure that all the water drains away and that no areas covered with water remain. If there are cracks in the surface, fill them with Niroseal Super acrylic putty after the roof is dry and wait 24 hours for the putty to dry. Application :Do not apply if rain is predicted within the next 72 hours. In summertime, it is advisable to apply early in the morning, before the roof heats up. Top Roof is applied in two coats, with a total weight of 1.5–2 kg/m2. Apply to the surface connectors and sides with the aid of a roller or large whitewash brush. Apply to the roof area, finishing at the point where you got onto the roof. Repeat the application a second time, the next day. Dilution: The first coat can be diluted with 10%-15% water.
