Pool water tester is a quick and easy way to control chemical levels in your pool. Untested water can become a breeding ground for bacteria or develop a chemical disorder that can cause damage to your health. Testing the water through the straps that are on the packaging is simple, dip a strip and then compare the colors that the paper has taken with the table behind the packaging.
The level of chlorine in the pool should be 1-3 ppm (3-5 ppm for the spa).
The pH level should be 7.2-7.6.
Alkaline levels of 80-120 ppm.
