A spreading tree with heart-shaped, glossy green leaves and white mulberries which ripen to pink and red in late summer. Can tolerate a wide range soils provided they are well-drained. Prepare the ground well before planting, plant in full sun out of cold, drying winds. Little pruning is needed, only to remove low, dead, diseased or crossing branches.
