Water reserve: thanks to the tank on the bottom, the pot can store water and gradually release it to the plants. The system has been designed so that mosquitoes and other insects cannot come into contact with water and thus multiply. If the vase is used outdoors, the cap on the bottom must be removed, so that the excess water can safely drain out.
